Hello,
I consume way too much ink for the little use I make of it. Too often there are cleanings when starting up.
I wonder: wouldn't it be wise to run the printer every 3/5/10/15/20 days to print two lines of each color black/yellow/blue/red. This could prevent a cleaning of the nozzles.
To the specialists to ponder and get back to me.
Sincerely.

Hello,
I'm not sure it's a good solution, but you can try.
I've already seen my printer do an endless head cleaning even though it had been used recently.
The only solution I know to avoid wasting ink on head cleaning is to print large volumes. But that's obviously rarely the case.
It's the only way to make the cartridges worthwhile.
What is well conceived is clearly stated,
And the words to say it come easily.

Hello Pierr10
Thank you for the feedback. I will try the test every week and see what happens; if there’s a result, I'll come back with updates.
Always open to other responses.
Best regards.

Hello,
I use an alternative that may not be cost-effective in every case: I also have a black and white laser printer, which is used systematically when there is no color to print. This is still a very common situation aside from professional correspondence with logos, and there is then no cleaning or waste.
Hello
New update: after several attempts without success, I unplugged my printer from a socket that cuts off all the electronics when not in use (storm zone).
I plugged it directly, so it's always powered; since then, there has been no need for cleaning even after several days without use.
I think that with too long a power cut, the cleaning memory gets erased, so cleaning is needed when restarting.
For me, that's the end of the story.
Thank you for your responses.
Best regards.
