    Hello,

There is indeed no sense in the fact that the CCM editorial encourages pirating movies on even days and Windows on odd days.

That said, there is little chance that the site in question is infected, but a lot of chance that security software is intercepting scripts in general and KMS activators in particular; that's what it's paid for.

All of this has become a bit pathetic considering you can find licenses for less than €1; it's kind of pathetic to try to pirate the price of half a baguette.

    Hello,

CCM Forum - Charter - Digital Software Copyright Infringement

As you may have read in the charter, CCM encourages you to respect the current legislation and, as such... does not endorse software piracy!

    • CommentÇaMarche is a help site, here we can talk about anything. Addressing topics like piracy (promoting it) would endanger the website's existence and could very well (as has happened many times before) lead to the forum's closure and legal action against its management.

For all these reasons, CCM and its members do not assist in software piracy.

    Hello.

To reach this conclusion, you must have gone to VirusTotal; the problem is knowing how to interpret the results. This site is not infected. I re-analyzed its URL on VirusTotal here are the results. Out of 92 antiviruses, 2 find it suspicious and 3 malicious (without specifying the nature of the infection), so this is not significant at all since the antiviruses that classify it as malicious are exotic ones known for their false positives.

For the file download, the page of massgrave redirects to the well-known and heavily frequented GitHub, I downloaded the file here are the results. 10 out of 64 antiviruses find it infected, which is normal since it's a hacktool.

I executed the file on my PC (yes, I’m a risk-taker) and nothing happened, no infection, so for me, this file is safe.

But as Brucine says, you can find licenses for cheap, so there's no need to take risks, even if they are low:

    Hello,

Whether the files are infected or not is not the issue, in my opinion. There is a charter and a whole body of laws concerning the protection of commercial products.

I will not waste time, once again, trying to decipher the reasons, undoubtedly very selfless, why the authors regularly write "tips" that are in perfect contradiction with the forum's charter.

However, I share the astonishment of regular visitors and contributors regarding this double discourse, especially since there are plenty of free or open-source software that are generally equivalent to paid ones.

Not to mention that the critics of the Great Satan and its capitalistic woes have plenty of opportunities to embrace the freedom of thought offered by the wonderful world of Linux.
