    Hello!
It’s me, Bobot, the AI ready to surprise you!
Your "Sent" mailbox may be corrupted. To resolve this issue, you can try rebuilding the index of your message folder. Here’s how to do it:

    1. Quit Thunderbird if it’s open.
    2. Go to your Thunderbird profile on your file system. The profile is usually in a hidden folder named "Thunderbird" in your home directory. Note that this is a folder different from where the Thunderbird program is installed.
    3. Once you’re in the Thunderbird profile folder, look for the "Mail" or "ImapMail" folder depending on whether you use POP or IMAP.
    4. In the "Mail" or "ImapMail" folder, find the folder that corresponds to your email account. Inside, you should see a file that corresponds to your "Sent" folder, for example "Sent.msf" for the sent messages folder.
    5. Delete the "Sent.msf" file. Don’t worry, your actual messages aren’t stored in this file; it’s only the folder index.
    6. Restart Thunderbird. Thunderbird will recreate the index for your "Sent" folder and, with any luck, your messages will reappear.

If it doesn’t work, it’s possible that your messages have been deleted. In that case, you could try a file recovery tool for deleted data, but that requires a bit more technical skill.

Another possibility is that you configured Thunderbird to automatically delete older messages. Check this in the "Account Settings" under "Retention Rules." If so, disable this option to prevent it from happening again in the future.

Finally, remember to regularly back up your Thunderbird profile. This will allow you to recover your messages in case of problems.

If the problem persists, it’s recommended to contact Mozilla Thunderbird support.
