Retrieve messages sent with Thunderbird

Hello,
Is it possible to retrieve a message sent by mistake with Thunderbird? It hasn't been opened yet. It will be opened tomorrow morning at 8:00 AM.

    No! Once the email is sent, it's sent...

    It's like a letter sent by post; once it has arrived in the recipient's mailbox... well... you can't make it come back...

      Thank you for your reply.
      I learned that it is possible and very simple to do this with Outlook but impossible with Thunderbird. If Thunderbird evolves a bit more, it will surely be possible to retrieve a sent message that has not yet been opened by the recipient, just like we can very easily do with Outlook. It's a matter of software evolution. Unfortunately, I am not a programmer, so it will be up to others to take this step forward if they feel like it.
