Hello

My photocopier was working perfectly for sending scans by email. Last January, the Scan to Mail feature stopped working. I am with Orange (smtp.orange.fr)

The option to use SSL/TLS is set to: Off.

On January 28, 2024, I changed the port numbers:

Port number: 587 (it was previously working with port 25)

SSL port number: 465 (grayed out).

This worked well until March 11, but again I can't use Scan to Mail...

I have another error message that appears when I restart the photocopier: Preparing Num/Fax... and Preparing a user box for 1 hour to 2 days depending on my photocopier's mood, then the message disappears...

The error code when I try to do a Scan to Mail is: 550 error ident (it seems like a problem with the SMTP server).

I know that this photocopier isn't very young but there must be a setting to adjust to prevent it from ending up in the dump.

Small addition: I had disabled SSL because Scan to mail was not working.

Today, while trying to solve my problem, I checked the activation of SSL in the security settings, and since then I can no longer connect remotely via my browser (in Chrome, I get the message: ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH). I can connect via Safari, I get to the administration page, but if I click on the Network tab, I get a blank page.

There is surely a way to enable SSL and Scan to mail, but my skills do not allow me to go further.

Help!
