Using Chromecast without wifi

Good evening. I have no fiber and no wifi at home. How can I use Chromecast with my Wiko View 4 smartphone to mirror the screen, or is it possible to connect the smartphone to the TV via an HDMI cable? A Leclerc salesperson told me that it is not possible, and I read everything and its opposite online. Thank you very much for your help. Marie

Hello,
when you say no wifi, do you mean no internet via wifi or is the box's wifi down?
Way too many people, including yourself it seems, confuse wifi network and internet access when they are actually two very different things.
As for the cable, no, forget it, there's no HDMI on a phone.
But yes, it can share its connection over wifi, you just need to connect the machincast to the mobile's wifi instead of the box's, if the box's wifi is still up, the mobile or even a PC can cast while keeping everyone connected to the box's wifi.
And there you go ....
But what a pain those line spaces are !! -
Good evening. Thank you for the response! Well, it's true that computer language isn't my strong suit. I no longer have a box, just internet on my phone with mobile data. I thought I could duplicate my screen using a cable, somewhat like with a laptop. So, it’s also out of the question for Chromecast if I understand you correctly?

Good evening, just for your information, I found a tutorial to share the data but it's running without the connection being established. I gave up. However, I’m surprised that with a cable I can't duplicate the TV. Have a good evening.
