Hello,

I just tried to lower the price of one of my ads on Le bon coin, but when I confirm the modification, I end up on a page where the site offers to boost my ad, and I can't refuse this proposal (there's no button allowing me to confirm the modification of the ad without accepting this offer).

Are there others in this situation? What can I do to work around this problem?

The best thing to do is to copy the text of your ad and delete it, then recreate your ad, write your title, upload your photos, and paste your text in, all in 2 minutes flat.

It is not possible to modify an ad without paying.

The best option is to delete the old one and create a new one with your new price. Another advantage of doing this is that your ad will be more recent and will likely reach more potential customers.

it's not 'showing off' but just responding to someone to tell them that what they claim is FALSE!

This means that there is a possibility of being able to do it, and that's a different answer!!!

It is true that it would be wise to justify why you claim that it is false; an explanation would be welcome, knowing that I also frequently use the site... there are some ads that can be modified for free and others that cannot... it all depends on the category.

Hello, I had the same issue with some listings. In fact, it all depends on the category used; I noticed that modifications are free for vacation, decoration, home linen, fashion, leisure, multimedia, and tableware listings.

Thus, we can modify and keep the listing without limit, unlike paid modification listings which are only online for 2 months.

Depending on the section of the advertisement, the modification is either paid or free.
Was the modification free? (it is indicated in the list of your ads)

Same for me, it's impossible to modify without paying.

It wasn't a problem just a few months ago... I find this strategy from Le Bon Coin totally stupid.
It wastes everyone's time.

I just took a test again and nothing has changed for ages, I can still edit without paying ....

It doesn't work for real estate! It's impossible to modify the listing without boosting it. I had to cancel it even though I still had a month left, then recreate the listing. I saved over €120!

I also regularly have problems modifying the price, adding photos... I think Leboncoin's server is having an issue. I managed to succeed each time by trying multiple times, from a stable wifi connection.

Not very professional for a site with such an audience...

Hello

It all depends on the category; in some areas, the ad can be modified for free, while in others, you have to pay. In your personal space, under my ads, it says modify for free, .....or nothing....only visible on a computer.

Hello

The problem with creating new listings in the car section to modify them for free is that after two listings posted on LBC Auto, it becomes paid even for us individuals.
