    Hello,

If by portable you mean mobile phone, an .exe is intended to run (and not open) in a Windows environment and for some, in a Linux environment on PC, not on a smartphone (Android or iOS).

It is possible to share files generated by executables on different platforms, but you will need to install a compatible application on the smartphone for that (impossible to specify since we do not know which .exe you are referring to).

To be more complete, opening an .exe would mean for open source codes or those you have created yourself, using programming tools (decompilation) to decode the content of software.

Hello and thank you for your reply. Before opening this post, I installed .exe reader but it didn't work. It's not a big deal; I'll do it on my PC. Thanks again.

      Hello,

...and your .exe reader allows you to read PDFs?

        Hello,

I quickly looked into what the different tools under this name are meant for, unless I'm mistaken, to explore and intervene on various elements of the code of a Windows executable on an Android smartphone.

Targeted at developers therefore, with a view to analyzing the code for PC and creating mobile applications.

My interpretation of Lady27's request seemed to me, unless contradicted, to install and use some software for PC on a smartphone. This is something I'm not aware of to date.
