Are deleted emails removed when the label is deleted?

Hello,

I deleted the tags from the emails in my labels, and once the label was empty, I deleted them. I thought that by removing the tags one by one, the emails would return to the main inbox, but there's nothing left, not even in the deleted messages; it doesn't make sense to me. That's a big loss of emails.. Do you have a solution?

    Hello,

Which email is it about? Is it a browser email or one with a program?

Normally, if it's Gmail, it shouldn't have deleted it:

"When a label is deleted in Gmail, the label itself is removed and subsequently removed from the emails to which it was applied. This action cannot be undone, and there is no way to recover a label once it has been deleted. The messages to which the label was applied are not deleted."

You should check with email support as they sometimes have ways to restore emails.

    Best regards.

If it's Gmail, messages are not deleted, indeed. They are not automatically returned to the inbox, just as a message is not removed from the inbox when a label is attached to it.

There is no need to restore them; you can find them in "All Mail" or by doing a search.
