Hello Ritchi and Francis,

I'm reaching out to you, my friends, I've upgraded my Mac to version Ventura 13.6.4 and I'm unable to download Open Office as it's not reliable enough for Apple!!! Could you suggest another free software for Mac in French, with the link? I'm still as clueless as ever????

I'm counting on you as usual

I'm also looking for a photo software and link????

I've sent several messages but the response hasn't led me anywhere

Thanks, friends

Warm regards

Maryse

You can (advantageously, in my opinion) use LibreOffice instead of OpenOffice. However, given your questions, you may encounter the same difficulties during installation.

You will need to take the time to read the information and, on the first launch, proceed with a right-click > "Open" instead of a double click, which will allow you to authorize the correct installation of the application (exactly like for OpenOffice and a good number of other applications from an "unidentified developer").

Note that for LibreOffice, after installing the application, you need to download and install the language pack for French (this is offered on the same page). Nothing complicated there either...

Hello Bernard,

thank you for your reply ????, I received a message from Francis last night explaining the procedure to install LibreOffice like you, I installed everything along with the language software and everything works wonderfully, it’s all good, your advice is invaluable ???? thanks again to everyone.

Have a great weekend and see you soon, best regards ????
