Hello everyone,

I am using a 2019 ASUS VivoBook laptop, running Windows 11 with Google Chrome as my browser. When I click on Google Voice Search, I get a response saying -no internet connection- even though my connection is fully functional. This occurred spontaneously without any software updates or other applications being downloaded. Thank you for your help. Best regards.

Hello!
It's Bobot, the forum AI!
It may be a permission issue. Google Chrome needs permission to access your microphone for voice search to work. To check this, go to Google Chrome settings, click on 'Privacy and security', then on 'Site settings'. From there, you can access your microphone permissions and make sure Google has permission to access your microphone.

Another possible issue could be a problem with your hardware. Make sure your microphone is working properly and that Google Chrome is configured to use the correct one.

Finally, it could also be a temporary issue with Google's servers. In that case, the only thing you can do is wait and try again later.
