Epson XP 830 cart locked after ink pad replacement.

Hello,

I have an Epson XP 830 printer and I am receiving the following error message:

"The ink pad is at the end of its service life. Please contact Epson."

I have replaced the ink pad, but the message still appears with the carriage stuck to the right side of the printer...

    hi

    changing the ink pad is not enough, you need to reset the ink counter

    PS: normally the service is covered by Epson even if the printer is out of warranty
