Hello,
I have just become acquainted with the word Bloatbox.
I then downloaded Bloatbox and the quick scan showed me a large number of programs to uninstall, but I still hesitate to do so on my Lenovo Thinkpad T440 - Windows 10 Pro 64 - from 2012 (2012).

Hi
Pre-installed software on a computer, smartphone, or tablet is generally referred to as bloatware. While some can be useful and relevant, like antivirus solutions, others can be quite annoying.
Looking over your screenshot, I don't see any software to remove.

Hello billmaxime,
Regarding my administrative use of the PC as described, your response, I quote, "I don't see any software to uninstall," surprises me.
What could be the purpose of not uninstalling, for example:
1. Disney.3785F . . . . ?
2. And all the Microsoft.Xbox from Xbox.TCUI to XboxSpeechToTextOverlay?

Yes
Indeed, but you can simply disable them in the apps instead of uninstalling them if you want to use them in the future.
If in doubt, you can do an internet search to find out what these pre-installed apps are for.
PS: They are not from Lenovo, but from Microsoft.
See you
Hi again,
Alright, rather than removing them I can disable them in the applications, but for your information, all the apps except Avast Premium have been disabled at Windows startup for years.
But where can I disable the pre-installed apps as per my request, namely:
1. Disney.3785F . . . . ?
2. And all the Microsoft.Xbox from Xbox.TCUI to XboxSpeechToTextOverlay?
PS: Before my Bloatbox question on CCM, I had already uninstalled several pre-installed Lenovo applications that I found unnecessary using AdwCleaner.

Again,
via your link I chose the 2nd solution which is:
Uninstall from the Settings page
-
Select Start, then select Settings > Apps > Apps & features.
-
Select the app to uninstall, then Uninstall
But how is it possible that all the apps I want to uninstall are all the same size, only 16 KB?
Hello billmaxime,
XYZ Mb means, for example, the size of an application of 512 Megabytes or 728 Mb or even 985 Megabytes.
In other words, I would like to know if by uninstalling all the apps that happen to be the same size of only 16 Ko, will all the apps that would logically have different sizes in Megabytes actually be uninstalled, resulting in freeing up space on my 166 GB SSD from 2012.
See you later
hi
the applications you are going to uninstall will free up space on the 128GB SSD
you can also install one larger capacity SSD and reinstall W10
and yes, the size of the application doesn't matter, whether it's 16KB or more, it will be uninstalled
PS: check the function of the applications you want to uninstall before executing the operation
see you later
Hello,
1. How do you know that the applications I'm going to uninstall will free up space on the 128 GB SSD?
2. For my first attempt, I'm uninstalling "Solitaire and Casual Games," which supposedly has a size of 16 KB.
3. Please show me the path to this application using Explorer so I can see its actual size, which will be part of the 128 GB.
4. For your information, my SSD on Lenovo T440 of 166 GB still has 35 GB of free space, so I don't need a new SSD yet, as professionally I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T460 and also a Lenovo Thinkpad P51 bought new.
BUT what interests me to advance my IT knowledge is to uninstall what takes up space on the SSD and that I haven't used since 2012 ;
it’s like cleaning out the basement of my house and motorcycle workshop and throwing away (deleting) all the big things never used since the purchase of the house (PC) in 2012
