Good evening,

I have a problem with my PC.

I just installed Windows 10 and my graphics card is not recognized, it shows "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" and my 3D applications don't work like they used to. I need help please,

Thank you.

    Hello Bach,

    Well, I would say to install the drivers for your graphics card because they probably aren’t present on your Windows 10... Right?

    Best wishes for this new year 2024!

    Indeed, when your GPU becomes "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter," it means the drivers are missing. You need to reinstall them.

    Hello,

    Windows + R
    Type --> devmgmt.msc and OK.

    Post the hardware ID of the Microsoft basic display adapter

    Start by checking with the manufacturer of your graphics card (the one of the graphics card), or on the nVIDIA website if it’s an nVIDIA GPU, or on the AMD website if it’s an AMD GPU.
