PS5 power cable crackling

Hello,
Recently, my PS5 has been turning off by itself and I have to unplug and replug the power cable for the PS5 to turn on again.
Following this, I discovered that when I insert the power cable into the PS5, there are sounds like popping or crackling.
Do you have any solutions to prevent it from turning off by itself and why is it making that sound?

Hello,
You should try a different power cable.
If the cable isn't the issue, it will be difficult to determine which component is causing the problem remotely through a forum; the wisest course of action would be to turn it off and take it to a repair technician.
Where to claim the warranty, provided it's still valid.
It's crackling
Not good, risk of a short circuit or worse...
Hello everyone,
Based on your description, I would say it's the "female" connector for the power supply of your PS5, soldered onto its board. The solder joints must have given way after plugging and unplugging so much...
A piece of advice: Replace the PS right away or have it repaired at Boulanger, if you don't want to set your house on fire.
Happy New Year 2024 to everyone!
The warranty is still valid and I bought it from Boulanger. Will they be able to do something or will they say that I caused it? Or maybe I can contact Sony.
Hello,
I don’t have that kind of answer, you need to check with them.
