Volume bar that stays on screen

Hello, I have a problem with the volume bar that stays in the middle of the screen just above the taskbar permanently since yesterday, and it remains visible even when I want to watch a video or movie in fullscreen, which is quite annoying. Furthermore, I cannot turn up the volume as it instantly drops back to 0. I have already tried restarting my PC several times, and I haven't found anything in the sound settings either.

    Are you equipped with a screen that has a built-in speaker?

    It is likely that this "volume bar" does not belong to Windows but to the screen itself.
    Volume buttons should be present; what happens when you use them?
