Thomson THS 804 decoder stuck

Hello,

Following the disassembly of the Thomson THS804 decoder from my old camper van, I am trying to reinstall it in the new one. Problem --- it turns on, displays "BOOT" for a few seconds, then the boot signal disappears and no further display appears -- the green light is still on, indicating that the decoder is powered. Pressing P+ / P- / power on/off button does not change the display --

Does anyone have a suggestion to resolve my issue?

    ► Normally at startup, during the boot sequence, it should search for a satellite, right?

    ► Is it for terrestrial television or satellite?

    ► THOMSON-THS804 is that the right one?

    I think it's due to its "sudden" shut down (but that's just a guess, of course), because there might be a sequence to turn it off and then unplug it (still just a guess).
    I don't really know this particular equipment.
