Hello,

Unable to read a DVD in my PC (Windows 10).

VLC is complicated, and others are the same...

What should I do?

Tutorial?

Thank you.

    Good evening,

I don’t see what the difficulty is; in a simple procedure, you just need to double-click on "DVD RW Drive (d:)" via Windows Explorer.

Afterwards, at the same time, some DVDs start automatically when the tray is closed.

Otherwise, consider setting VLC as the default…

    Hello

What is on this DVD? Photos, movie, various data?

What is well conceived is clearly stated,
And the words to say it come easily.

    Hello everyone,

A commercial DVD is "autorun" (it launches automatically after the tray is closed).

If you burned it yourself, you'll have to launch it manually if you didn't insert an autorun file in the root of your DVD's content.

DVD-RW (rewritable), be careful of the variants (DVD+RW & DVD-RW).
Depending on the type, not all of them work on the same player (I've experienced that sadly!).

    Good luck!
