Fan runs and stops.

Hello,

I have an HP 2000 Notebook that I've had for a few months and it was working fine without any issues. Since yesterday, its screen no longer displays anything and I noticed that the fan runs for a few seconds and then stops upon startup. Meanwhile, the power button light stays on.

What could be causing this? Thank you in advance for your responses.

    You have an old HP model. Which version of Windows does it run on?

    Hello.

    Possible power supply issue, test or have the power adapter and battery checked by a computer repair technician.
