Hello,

I was streaming series on my PC to the TV and everything was working fine, until one day, nothing, my TV no longer detects the signal from my PC (it says no signal). I tried with another PC but it does the same thing. I have tried many techniques, such as turning off the TV directly using the button to restart it completely, I also tried resetting my TV, but it doesn’t work. I also tried after connecting via HDMI to do: Windows + P, then duplicate the display, but nothing appeared, it still says "no signal." I'm a bit lost because I can't connect my PC to my TV anymore, even to play a game on the big screen.

It's a HITACHI 4K TV, I don't remember which year. Maybe 2020 or 2021.

Could someone please help me, I have searched for all the solutions on the internet but nothing works.

Thank you in advance to those who will help me, have a nice day

Hello,

Have you tried changing the HDMI cable?

Yes, unfortunately, I tried with several different HDMI cables, that's actually the first thing I did.

I even attempted to reset the TV and checked all the settings on my PC (I have a bit of knowledge about PCs) and it does the same on all the PCs (I tried with 2 different PCs).

However, everything works fine on my Freebox; the HDMI cable works very well and I can watch TV without any issues. That's why I don't understand why it's not working.

Hello everyone,

Also try changing the HDMI connector since there are several (in addition to the suggestion from Imagine43).
Is there anything else? Is the connected connector active (check through your TV's menu).

Best regards!

I don't understand what you mean. I mean, is the connector active? Sorry, I really don't know anything about that.

Well, you should be able to select the HDMI if there are multiple (check the side of your TV).

"(it shows no signal)" No signal means that your TV is receiving nothing (it's the same for computer screens).

"my TV no longer detects the signal from my PC": it's the TV that has a problem since you tried with another PC.

► Are you receiving digital terrestrial television through the antenna?
► Do you have other connectors on the TV? (USB etc...)

Best regards!

Hello,

No, for the TNT I use a Freebox, which works very well via HDMI; I don’t use the TV's TNT.

As for the connectors, apart from my Freebox there’s nothing, no USB ports, just two HDMI cables connected, one that I don’t use, just plugged in just in case it's more convenient, and the other is for the Freebox. Other than that, nothing.

Yes, it tells me "No signal". But before, I was using the PC and everything worked perfectly; I could stream calmly.

But all of a sudden, nothing... No signal, whereas the day before everything was working very well.

I’m surprised that it’s the TV that’s not working correctly since the TV is very recent; we bought it a year ago at most. And it’s a recent 4K TV, dating back 2-3 years, maybe 4 now. But we bought it brand new.

If you have any ideas, I’m all ears. Because I’m stuck... And it bothers me, I can't even connect my PC to play games or watch series.

Thank you for your help,

Best regards.
