Know the FPS of an MP4 video

Hello,

I often use MediaInfo (latest version 23.09) to get information about a video file, but for MP4 files, it shows a Framerate of 1000 fps (like Windows does when you right-click -> properties).

These are black and white films from the 30s to the 60s, so I highly doubt they are at 1000 fps!...

How can I find out the FPS of an MP4? I haven't found a clear answer...

hello right click properties details give us the definition of your file

Gspot 2.70 makes the same mistake, but Handbrake correctly identifies the framerate at 30 frames/sec it seems:
