Cropped image after a screenshot

Hello,

when I use the Screenshot tool:

I generally select my capture area in the form of a rectangle for your information,

I trim to remove what's excess,

I save it,

I copy-paste it into a Word or PowerPoint document:

only the left part of my capture appears, even if I save it as Images or anything else!

The frame of this capture is whole, but not what it contains...

Does anyone know why I end up with a truncated capture, while when I view it after saving my changes, the image is complete...?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards

    Hello.

There seems to be a problem: "I select my area to capture, usually in the form of a rectangle for your information, I crop to remove what is excessive, I save"

How can you crop before saving?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your feedback.

When my screenshot is taken, it offers me a mini toolbar, with a highlighter, a ruler, and cropping. Once I've cropped, 2 small icons appear, either save (a small checkmark) or cancel (a small cross). I click on Save and when I right-click to copy and paste my result onto a document, only the left part appears...

I tested saving my entire screenshot to the desktop before modifying, cropping, or anything else, but it doesn't change anything. What’s strange is that this didn't happen a month ago; it's quite recent. I don't use the screenshot feature often...

I hope this is clear enough, thank you for your help!

    Best regards

... the problem is that you neglected to specify which software (and which version) you are talking about! I use Excel 2013, and it's not at all like that ...

    Hello

it would be better to insert the saved image ( "because I click on Save")
