TNT Decoder Compatibility with External Hard Drive

Hello, I would like to be able to record TNT, especially movies, as they are not available for replay, but I don’t have a fiber decoder because I already have 2 decoders in the living room and one in a bedroom, and internet service providers (Orange in my case) only allow 2 decoders per house. I tried the Orange TV key but encountered technical problems. I know that Molotov TV offers a recording option but doesn’t provide access to all TNT channels, so I’m thinking of buying the CGV Etimo 2TC TNT decoder because I already have a 1TB Western Digital external hard drive. However, the instructions for the decoder state that an external USB 3.0 hard drive may not be compatible and that I need to buy a USB 3.0 to 2.0 adapter or a USB 2.0 cable, and I don’t know what to buy or which site to go to (the external hard drive has a micro B USB port and the decoder has a regular USB port). Can you help me? Best regards.

Hello,

Did you lose the commas along the way? It's hard to digest and anyway, your decoders, Molotov or the captain's age have nothing to do with the problem.

I have a recent external disk USB 3.0 on an adapter as basic as yours (generic Boulanger brand) with no issues whatsoever.

The data transfer will be controlled by the adapter and at the lowest speed, the bitrate of a TV stream is in any case well below the USB 3 standard.

Of course, it only records from TNT and through the cable of the antenna.
