Hello, I bought a new PS4 controller earlier, I get home, plug it into my PS4, turn it on via the central button of the PlayStation and then press the PS button on my controller, it lights up and then tells me that there’s no battery left and disconnects. So, I charged it with the same USB cable on a socket with a charger and it doesn’t light up orange, I left it for 10 minutes but nothing, it still doesn’t turn on.

What should I do please? I just bought it, it’s new, thank you.

    Hello,

You can return it to where you bought it. It's guaranteed for 2 years (from the date of purchase). By the way, where did you buy this PS4 controller?

I'll let it charge for an hour; if it doesn't work, I'll call the store and go back for an exchange. I bought it at Micromania, and during the purchase, I provided my account information and have the receipt on the credit card ticket.

Good news, I changed the cable about ten times, and it turns out that was the issue; out of the ten I tried, there was only one that worked, so that's that, problem solved, thanks ????

To avoid making mistakes in the future, you can throw away the other used cables.
