Copy file to external hard drive connected to Livebox 6

Hello,
Before investing in a NAS, I tested the method of connecting an external hard drive to my Livebox 6.
Everything works perfectly, I can access my videos via my TV and I can reach them through my PC.
The problem I encounter is that I can copy a file from the Livebox server to my PC, but not the other way around (the "paste" option remains grayed out).
Do you have a solution, please?
Thank you in advance ;)

Hello,
I don't know the livebox, probably another participant will be able to give you more details.
There are two modes of use on NAS and by analogy on boxes with connected disks. First, the multimedia mode (Upnp/Dlna) where the box acts as a media server and provides files for playback, generally under three categories: video, image, music. Through this interface, it is not possible to upload, write files. To write, you need to enable another function, file sharing. You can then access the files via a different address than the multimedia one, with a link like on my Freebox: \\FREEBOX\Freebox or on the NAS: \\NASSAU

Hello,
thank you for your response. Indeed, at the moment I am using the multimedia part "livebox server" from the workstation.
The online advice I found suggested accessing the external drive via //livebox, but when I enter the search in the workstation, Microsoft asks me for my security code, and redirects me to the login portal of my livebox.
Should I enable file sharing through the livebox options?
Thank you in advance :)
