Hello,

I typed my partner's book using Open Office, and when I try to open it, it responds: "copy.odt." What does this mean?

Thank you in advance to anyone who will be willing to answer me.

Have a nice day

Hello, In addition to Panth33ra's response, whom I greet, I would like to remind you that it is highly recommended to make backups on different media (USB hard drive, USB stick, SD card) to cope with any incidents (breakdown, theft, damaged files). Personally, I would also save copies in different formats (doc or docx) aside from Open Office's native format.

Hello, Simplified procedure proposed by yclik - Exit OpenOffice - Press the Windows key (the little flag) while holding down the R key - Type %appdata% - Look for the OpenOffice folder and rename it OldOpenOffice - Restart OpenOffice

I tried but it doesn't work. Never mind, I have another issue. I can find in file explorer: my images, videos, music but not "my documents" .... where did they go? Thank you. I tried "this PC" but it still doesn't show my documents. What should I do? Thank you very much.

Hello, Having had a virus and having been forced to delete OneDrive, could that be the issue? I had still saved the book on a USB key, but when I open "My Documents", other files are responding: what should Firefox do, open with, save this file or always perform this action for this type of file… I just wanted to know what to respond or what to do. Thank you
