Windows 11 Pro activation issues

Hello everyone,

I'm facing a problem with activating Windows. When I go to the activation settings, it shows me in big letters that they can't connect to my organization's activation server. But the thing is, I'm not part of any organization and I don't see which server they're talking about...
I installed Windows without activating it, using an ISO file, and I intended to activate it by purchasing a product key from the Microsoft Store. But still, the option isn't there.

If anyone can help me, it would really help...

Thanks in advance

Hello, Buy your key and along with it a process for installation and activation will be provided. You did this backwards here...

In reverse because you took the ISO before the key. Depending on the type of key, the ISO can change. So you buy the key on a XYZ website (CDiscount, Amazon, Fnac, wherever you want at the price that suits you) and with this key a link will be provided to download the correct ISO and the proper procedure to activate the key.

And where can I buy my key?

Thank you for the links. Is CDiscount reliable? It seems to me that it is a reputable brand, right?

Hello, "I installed Windows without activating it, using an ISO file"... and how did you get your ISO file?

Hello, it’s easy to get an ISO file, as long as it’s legitimate and you don’t get the wrong version, for example here. https://lecrabeinfo.net/telecharger-iso-windows-11.html Now, it’s certain that if the ISO fell off a truck and/or corresponds to a corporate license that activates on the license manager’s server or if there’s no "organization" and a hacking process tries to connect to a server that isn’t working...

    On the Microsoft website.

    Hello,

Let's go back to the beginning of your story.

"But the thing is, I'm not part of any organization and I don't know which server they're talking about...

Which organization are you talking about?... You are an individual. There are 2 versions: Windows 11 Home and Pro.

I installed Windows without activating it, using an ISO file, and I was planning to activate it by purchasing a product key from the Microsoft Store."

As soon as the installation is done, you need to activate it without delay." Don't wait a month to do it. I don't understand your problem?

It's all good, I found a temporary solution. At least to temporarily remove the watermark. By typing the command slmgr in cmd and rebooting. In reality, as long as the watermark isn't there, Windows activation can wait. Anyway, thanks everyone for your help.

        Hello,

You know that in order to get Windows updates, you will need to activate it. Since I bought mine (July 29, 2023), I've received 5 updates between August 1 and August 11.

Hello everyone, I found the solution to my problem.

Since I had the great honor of tasting the famous Spyware Trojan, I had to format my hard drive and reinstall Windows. After this reinstallation, the warning disappeared, finally just saying that it hadn't found a product key. After that, I called my IT technician who checked my PC remotely and entered the activation key, and now it’s activated. I could have activated it with an OEM key, but I preferred to go for a more expensive but more reliable option.

Anyway, thanks everyone for helping me activate Windows (the watermark was really annoying for gaming).

      Hello,

      All that for this...

Anyway, you did "like everyone else," you installed a regular version of Windows and paid for a key, it’s true that it’s more reliable, but to break the bank for your IT guy to charge you for it (I know, everyone needs to earn a living).

No, I still activated it after installation.
