FLASHBACK BIOS update LED keeps blinking incessantly

Hello,

I'm trying to update my BIOS (after assembling the PC) using the BIOS Flashback button (Asus ROG Strix B650A Gaming WIFI). The problem I have is that the LED doesn't stop blinking after 2 hours. I have no solution because normally, if there's a problem, the LED stays on or turns off. What should I do? Should I wait or interrupt the update?

Thank you in advance

    Hello

The BIOS flashing is a risky operation, even more so when using the flashing functions without the CPU....

So to understand the motivation: Why flash the BIOS this way? And why?

Hello, yes you can turn it off.
Start the PC and go into the BIOS to check if the update has been properly applied.

Otherwise, did you format your USB stick to FAT32?
    Rename the file *.CAP
    ROG-STRIX-B650-A-GAMING-WIFI-ASUS-1636.CAP
to > SB650A.CAP or ASUS.CAP after extracting it to the USB stick?
Did you place the USB stick in the port specified by the BiosFlashBack?

Normally, if the PC has not turned off or restarted automatically within 10-15 minutes, you can turn the PC off yourself using the On/Off switch at the back of the power supply.
Remove the USB stick, then start the PC, go into the BIOS and check if the new update has been successfully flashed.
