Voice on PC startup

Hello,
when I turn on my laptop, for one to two minutes I hear voices talking (Asian?) or music, with no apps or anything open. What could this be from?
It's like I can hear what's going on with other people, it doesn't happen every time but quite regularly.
Thank you in advance

Hello,
So this is pretty crazy... do you have a Bluetooth speaker connected?
I've never heard of such a symptom, except for a foreign radio station, but why and how would it be playing...
What kind of PC do you have, and what OS?
Hello Dadou,
nothing connected via Bluetooth. I have an Omen laptop 17", Windows 11 Home.
Today, 15 to 30 seconds after turning it on, there was an English-speaking voice talking by itself (like presenting the news).
I have been using computers for over 30 years and have never seen (or heard) anything like this!
Hello Mariam,
how can I check that?
How could a dry solder joint cause the "capturing" of Asian conversations no matter where I connect from? (last week in Finistère, today in the south of France, and in both cases it seems to me that the language spoken by the people I hear is the same).
It's as if their PC's microphone was open and the sound was coming through my PC.
To check, change the sound card.
Or wrap the computer in household aluminum foil and connect the wrapping to a grounding pin of an electrical outlet; if the phenomenon disappears, the cause is confirmed.
(Plug in headphones in case the sound doesn't go through the wrapping).
There can certainly be other causes.
Hello,
With one of these tools you might find something suspicious along with a culprit.
You can analyze and remove harmful programs and viruses with RegRun Reanimator.
https://greatis.com/security/reanimator.html
> Fix Problems
> Fix Malware Issues
You need to look in the tabs at the top for the types of items seen.
Be careful, it is important to sort carefully, through searches and deductions and/or VirusTotal analyses* to only remove viruses or unnecessary items, because it detects everything and anything, good or bad, important or not, it is not an "antivirus", but rather an analysis tool that allows you to see technical details about possibly active elements, sometimes good, sometimes bad.
It shows details such as file names and locations, which often serve as concrete clues.
Whether marked in red, yellow, blue, or green, it is the user who must judge the relevance of what it detects.
Check the items to delete and not the others and click on the red button, in all sections where there is something to delete, then go to Finish! and click the button to restart Windows.
If it does not detect enough you can use the Filter Set button or the Inspection Mode to see everything.
Or On-Line Multi-Antivirus Scan.
Or by closing the first Reanimator window via the X at the top right, and the Reanimator tab > Anti Spyware Full Check...

The VirusTotal Uploader program *Download the App here*
https://support.virustotal.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002179065-Desktop-Apps
For (A file) > Right-click > Send to > VirusTotal
(Show hidden files if necessary in View > Options > View)
To get analysis results of the file by around sixty antivirus engines, plus the Details tab to see if the file is signed and verified or not, etc.
You can use the Reupload option to obtain a new analysis of the file in case it is a recent file that has been analyzed little.

You can clean up invalid and unnecessary startup items with Autoruns.
You can download Autoruns here, extract everything into a new folder, and run it as an administrator.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns
Take your time, review all the details, do some research.
In the "Logon" and "Scheduled Tasks" tabs, you can disable or delete the automatic startup of unnecessary third-party items that are not from Microsoft or important Windows ones either by unchecking them or by right-clicking > Delete.
Check the "Services" tab, but do not disable them if they are sometimes useful, it is better to set them to "Manual" mode (to start on demand) with Windows services.msc, by right-clicking on the Start button > Run: services.msc
With Autoruns you have a list of Non-Windows services, so it helps.
The changes will take effect after restarting Windows.
Afterwards, let us know if you still need help or not...
