Hello,
I'm trying to log into my account at La Banque Postale on my laptop, but after entering my username and password, I'm asked to authenticate using the La Banque Postale app on my Xperia X phone.
The problem is that I can't find the La Banque Postale app on my Play Store!
There are 4 other apps, but they aren't the right ones. They are:
1/ Business-La Banque Postale
2/ La Banque Postale ERE (Employee Savings)
3/ Prepaid by La Banque Postale
4/ La Banque Postale Scellius
There is no app called "La Banque Postale" plain and simple!
On the authentication page, it says, I quote:
"For added security, access to your Internet Client Area requires strong authentication every 90 days, as per the new European Directive on Payment Services (PSD2).
This additional step is mandatory to access your Internet Client Area.
Learn more about PSD2
Secure your access with your strong authentication service
Step 1
Click on "Authenticate" to receive your notification on the following trusted device:
Select a device
Xperia X
Step 2
You will receive a notification on your trusted device and be prompted to enter your personal Certicode Plus code.
Step 3
And here we go! You will then be able to access your Client Area.
Click on the notification you received and enter your 5-digit personal Certicode Plus code, then validate. You will then be able to access your Internet Client Area.
Please note, you have 3 minutes to validate your connection request. After this time, you will need to reconnect from the homepage."
The problem is that La Banque Postale is not displayed on the list on the Play Store, so I can't authenticate, let alone download the app!?
I cleared the data and cache of the Play Store app, but the La Banque Postale app still does not appear in the list on the Play Store.
Do you have a solution to propose?
Thank you

Hello.
The application exists Android.labanquepostale.
Your phone being old (2016), it was released with Android 6. If the La Banque Postale app is not offered to you, it's probably because your version of Android is too old.
This application only works from Android 9 and above; applications that require a certain level of security no longer function on older versions of Android, as they are no longer updated and therefore do not have a sufficient level of security.

A hello, a response, a thank you are always appreciated.
Hello,
bazfile is right as usual.
If it can help:
It is still possible to access your account without the app.
Search for the login webpage and add this page to the home screen.
We have the desktop view.
Hello to you, yes Kori -Kori that's what I've been doing for a long time https://www.labanquepostale.fr/particulier/connexion-espace-client.html
Hello,
He will indeed be able to access his account, but I'm not sure that the authentication requested by La Banque Postale will work without the app of the same name.
I am not talking about identification but about authentication for a given procedure (read the question asked by Marian).
Authentication is done through a notification sent by the LBP application, and it is through this notification that the procedure can be carried out securely, not via a web browser.
According to the question asked, the authentication request that is required must absolutely go through the LBP application, which is not the same as strong authentication every 90 days; this authentication is requested for a specific operation and appears via a notification on the phone. This notification can only appear if the LBP app is installed.
Whether on a browser on a PC or on the phone, the request is likely to be the same: go through the LBP app.
