I am receiving texts from La Banque Postale. Solved/Closed

Hello,

so here it is, for the past month I have been receiving texts from La Banque Postale 3 to 4 times a day: here is an example of a text received:

Alert from La Banque Postale, on 11/17/11, CCP ************** Balance -508€, visit "https://labanquepostale.mobi"

The only problem is that the CCP number isn't mine... I am receiving a balance for an account that doesn't belong to me, what should I do?!

Hello Notify your postal bank to let them know. It could indeed be a scam.

I called them, and the advisor I spoke to told me that they couldn't do anything because these texts and this CCP number belong to someone who had my phone number before. And since it doesn't display the full CCP number, they can't track down the person to whom this account belongs. But there must be a solution, right?! I can't possibly receive this kind of text for months or even years, can I?!

Hello,  On some automatic SMS sending services, there is a way to stop it.  You need to reply to the SMS by sending: "STOP". Just this little word. You might want to try it and see what happens.

I just sent Stop to 20150 (the number that sends me the texts), should I receive a text afterwards confirming that my request has been taken into account?!
Because if that’s the case, I haven’t received any texts after my sending?!
