Hello,

Following my RAM change, right after that my Realtek audio driver got uninstalled and since then I have had no way to reinstall it... I tried but nothing works, however I went into device manager, and when I try to install the driver it crashes my PC with a blue screen! When I connect Bluetooth audio devices it works, so I don't know where the problem is coming from, I no longer have audio because I've lost my Realtek audio driver.

Good evening Lato,

  1. Following your issue, I think you should first check Windows Update (if you haven't already) to see if there are any driver updates (also look at optional updates, you never know).
  2. If the previous solution didn't work, check if you still see the driver in the device manager; if so, uninstall it and then restart your PC.
  3. If the problem persists, try updating the BIOS through the manufacturer's website for your motherboard.

I hope this helps you with your issue.

Hello,

Windows + R
Type --> devmgmt.msc and OK.

What do you have in audio, video, and game controllers?

Provide the hardware ID of the sound card.
Check this --> Find the device identification number
Post the number in your next message.
Example image:

Brand and model number of the PC?
Type --> msinfo32.exe and OK
Look in Manufacturer and Model

I have no Realtek audio driver in my device manager, so I can't find what you are suggesting.

In the device manager:
Do you have a device alert under --> System devices?

Brand and model number of the PC?

When I try to install the audio driver via the device manager... my PC crashes with a blue screen. I've researched online and the reason for my blue crash with the error code relates to my audio driver. It's been two weeks already; it's really a disaster...

Try this driver --> Realtek 6.0.9475.1

Unzip it
Run the setup.exe

If it doesn't work, try this version --> Realtek 6.0.9107.1
