Hello, I am completely stuck and maybe someone can help me. I want to send several documents but it says: "a supporting document with the same name has already been added." However, when I try to change the name of the document in question, it says: "if you change the extension of a file, the file may become unusable." So I cannot rename this file and I cannot send the document. Thank you in advance for your help...

Hello.

You only rename the part before the dot and therefore before the extension example:

File.pdf renamed gives File01.pdf you must not touch the extension.

Hello,

since forever, you can change a file name without changing the extension.

once, the 8.3 format was a limitation, but that's gone.

so you can have chocolate.txt and chocolate-bis.txt

if it's the email that's causing problems, you can make two with the same file name.

After that, if there is no extension, you can ignore the error message since no application will recognize it automatically anyway.

And there you go, voilà ....

But goodness, how annoying the line spacing is!!
