Hello,

I recently played Hogwarts Legacy on my boyfriend's PS5. I have a PS4 and I wanted to transfer my save to that PS4 to free up the space on his PS5. I tried to put my save on a USB drive, but my PS4 doesn't accept it.

Both PlayStations are connected to the internet. I also tried to do a LAN transfer but I believe I can only transfer from PS4 to PS5, right?

  • Do not turn off your source and destination consoles during the data transfer. This could cause damage or data loss.
  • Do not change your network settings and do not perform an Internet connection test during the data transfer. This could cause damage or data loss.
  • You can only transfer data between a PS4 or PS5 console and a PS5 console.
