Hello,
I am currently in my first year of a BTS MCO and I'm not going to pass my year because I have had more than 250 hours of absence and a lot of absences in class because I have been depressed. I would like to redo my first year because I know that I am not ready to be in my second year. I've heard that it is impossible to repeat your first year in a BTS, or am I mistaken? How could I find a solution to redo my year, please? Thank you.

Hello,
In many cases, it is possible to repeat the first year of the BTS MCO if certain circumstances, such as health issues or personal difficulties, have impacted your results. In your situation, where you mention having suffered from depression, this can be considered a valid reason to request to redo your first year. Therefore, I recommend that you make an appointment with the Student Affairs Office to explain your situation and explore the options available to you. They will be able to provide you with specific advice and precise information on the possibilities of repeating a year and the steps to follow.
Hello,
There is no Office of Student Affairs in France!
... but there are school heads (director, principal, headteacher) and CIOs (information and guidance centers), with the rectorate as a last resort.
There is no absolute answer to your question:
it depends on the number of students, your age, your behavior, your grades ...
