JBL Tune 660NC Headphones Keep Turning Off Repeatedly

Hello,

I'm currently experiencing a problem with my JBL Tune 660NC headphones, which are otherwise in good condition: when I turn them on, they systematically turn off 2 or 3 seconds later. When I try to charge them, the indicator lights up for 2 or 3 seconds before turning off, and the headphones no longer charge.

I attempted to reset them by pressing + and - simultaneously, but I believe the headphones turn off by themselves before the 5 seconds necessary for the reset have passed.

I honestly don't know what to do. Would anyone be able to help me? I'm hesitant to buy a new pair of headphones, but if it's possible to repair this one, it would be a shame.

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

it looks a lot like a dead battery, it should be possible to change it if you're a bit handy.

A first disassembly would allow you to check its voltage with a multimeter, and note its specifications or reference to find a replacement.

Guide for an equivalent model: https://fr.ifixit.com/Tutoriel/JBL+Tune+600btnc+Battery+Replacement/144446

Best regards.
