Hello

I bought a small DENVER KTV-61 TV but I can't get it to work.

Does anyone happen to have the user manual? I can't find it anywhere on the internet; I only found a DENVER document, but the TV model is very different. DENVER is not responding to my request.

    Old device, too much perhaps. What can't you do? Nothing is described.£
    It is not compatible with the current streams used in TNT and the current equivalent.

    Since April 5, 2016, in France, the TNT channels have been broadcast in a NON compatible format with the DENVER KTV61.
    This device is compatible with the MPEG2 format (used for SD format channels), but incompatible with the new MPEG4 format used (generally used for HD).

    Thank you for this detailed response, but I must admit I don't understand it!

    We want to use it with an indoor antenna (which works, it was connected to another TV), not in HD.

    The seller assures me that it worked for him, connected to his computer...

    The auto search only finds 5 channels, saves them, but when we tune to a channel, we get the message "no signal".

    I will try to send you a photo of the different possible sources. It is in a small accommodation that does not have an outside antenna and without computer connection.

    Thank you for your help.

    Your seller seems very comfortable comparing what isn't comparable. On their computer! A computer is not a TV, and a computer can use a playback program WITH the right codecs, and even update, convert streams, etc.
    This is not the case with a TV.
    Otherwise, you would have to go through a converter between the source and the TV, but that is just taking a step back to take a leap forward, in the sense that with evolution, it could also stop one day. It’s better to buy a newer TV directly.

    Can I ask for your opinion on another small TV that I'm considering buying and for which I have made another message? It seems compatible, but I have received contradictory answers on the forum. Link to my other message:

    I’m not buying a new TV because in 19 inches, they cost much more than a normal-sized TV! There is currently a 24-inch one available new for less than €80 at Carrefour, but the 19 inches are three times more expensive...
