Hello,

I'm stuck... I've tried to install my printer on my computer but it doesn't detect it. You can only hear the connection sound. I tried with the driver CD but it tells me it's outdated. On the Canon website, there are no more updates available for this printer. It's too old.

If anyone has a solution, I'm interested. Thanks in advance ????

    Good evening,

    Indeed, there is no longer a driver for this version of Windows 10... and your CD is probably too old to be compatible.

    I can advise you to install the driver for Windows 7 in 64 bit... it might work..!! here and download

    https://www.canon.fr/support/consumer_products/products/fax__multifunctionals/inkjet/pixma_mp_series/pixma_mp150.html?type=drivers&language=fr&os=windows+7+%2864-bit%29#disclaimer

    You can also try this one

    https://www.driverscape.com/download/canon-mp150 unzip the file into a folder and use "Canon_PIXMA_MP150_1_Vista64" only

    To install it, you need to uninstall the old one with the "RevoUninstaller" utility Restart the PC... then install the driver you just downloaded... restart the PC and test the printer...

    If you are connected via USB... unplug the cable before installing... and plug it back in when prompted.

    There you go, it’s worth a try.

    I am so happy it worked. Thank you both, kaneagle and jeannets, for your support towards a novice like me????. I will be able to keep my grandma's printer. No expenses to make.

    Thanks again.

    Have a lovely evening.

    Hello,

    Run revo-uninstaller again as administrator.
    Uninstall everything related to Canon products.
    Follow the tutorial closely to uninstall everything properly, including leftover folders and keys.
    For the residual scan, check --> advanced mode.
    Restart the PC.

    Disconnect the USB cable from the PC.
    Turn on the printer.
    Right-click on the driver setup --> mp150win64111ea13.exe.
    Select --> Troubleshoot compatibility
    Follow the instructions carefully.
    Connect the cable to the PC as soon as prompted.

      Hello,

      Do I have to take the same driver that was proposed to me earlier?
