Hello,

I have a problem. There are WhatsApp messages that I deleted because I didn't want anyone to find them.

However, I discovered that software like droidkit can restore everything....

How can I really permanently delete these WhatsApp messages?

Thank you

Hello,

Paranoia, when it gets to us...

There is no formal way to prevent data recovery except to format and overwrite data on the disk space; methods are well documented for PCs, but for phones, I don't know.

To recover this data, it's not always 100% effective; it probably needs to be done from the paid version, and the integrated utility (or another) must be able to root the phone, which is not guaranteed, and a third party must have the phone in hand and use a PC.

That's a lot of "ifs".

Don't be fooled, it doesn't work!! And it's impossible to contact them if you want to lose money!! Consider yourselves warned.

Hello as well,

We don't really see what your double intervention has to do with this thread, which aims to make plans on the comet to prevent data from being retrieved by a third party using Droidkit, not the other way around; if you're telling the truth, that's rather good news.

Regarding the "scam," there isn't one in the free version since, by definition, we haven't paid for it; there probably isn't one in the paid version either, as no data recovery software can achieve 100% success in all circumstances.

Thank you! I need to format my laptop from a PC, right?

Are there methods to do it on a PC?

Hello,

A mobile is not formatted but reset. This is quite pointless.

But this type of software only retrieves data if it is installed on your mobile and not otherwise.

Regards.

Thank you bendrop!

So it is not possible to delete the data permanently?

Hello,

Yes and no...

All I have to do is wait for my phone to be broken? At least I tell myself that all this will have an end...

Afterwards, there isn’t really a risk as long as your phone doesn’t fall into someone else's hands.

If possible... the reset erases account information, contacts, data, installed apps, photos, videos, music, games, etc. It also deletes preferences and network settings...

But we can recover the account with Droidkit!!!

So with a reset of my phone, even software like Droidkit won't be able to recover deleted WhatsApp messages anymore?

So... there's really nothing to do?

Even though zero risk does not exist, we need to stop being afraid of everything…

Yes, but this is a very special case.

Aside from sensitive data... After all, as a mere individual, I doubt that this kind of data would interest anyone.

When you don't have a clear conscience? The police or gendarmerie can retrieve all data from operators even for broken phones. So no worries for honest people!!!!

Hello too,

No: law enforcement can retrieve connection numbers from operators, not the content of exchanges, which can potentially be done but not always with websites facilitating these exchanges if they are encrypted.

Some foreign platforms do not comply with requests, and there is also controversy regarding iPhones, whose locked access is impossible and for which Apple systematically refuses to provide unlocking assistance.
