Facebook account disabled due to Instagram hacking

Hello everyone,

I am reaching out to you because I am facing a situation that I can't seem to resolve. On Instagram, a fraudulent account became linked to my account. I was able to dissociate it on Instagram, but my Facebook account linked to my Instagram profile identifies my account as violating the rules and is therefore disabled. The pirate Instagram account seems to have quickly been identified as fraudulent and no longer appears in searches. I can still access Instagram.

The various help pages on Facebook and Instagram do not seem to provide a solution for this cross-platform issue.

I would be greatly appreciative of your help, I'm a bit stumped here and the 30-day deadline before the total deactivation of my Facebook account is fast approaching. Thank you in advance!

        If you read them, you will notice that most of the time they remain unresolved, as this kind of problem cannot be solved on a forum since it only depends on Facebook.

    Hello Vic00,

    I am currently experiencing exactly the same issue as you with my professional account. I also can't go through the form; I received the same error message when trying to submit it. I have followed all the help links from Facebook, but it hasn't led to anything—I'm going in circles.

    I don't understand how an account could have been associated with my Instagram account without my knowledge. I haven't received any alert emails... It's very strange; I wonder how this operation could have been carried out without me noticing. The worst part is that I still have access to Instagram.
    I managed to delete the person who added themselves without my consent, and I took the opportunity to change my password. But now, my Facebook account remains locked because of this.

    I also notice on Twitter that we are not the only ones who have been hacked in recent days.

    I have no way to contact them, either through the help page or by email.

    Have you found a solution since then?

    Hello, I have the same problem, the worst part is that my business page is linked to my personal account. I think that because of this my account is lost, but how can I recover my professional business page? Furthermore, we can no longer write to Facebook because we were banned and they require a login... Thank you for letting me know when you find a solution, but I think there is a real gap on this topic.

      Dozens of you ask this kind of question here on CCM every day, but unfortunately the answer remains the same: you need to check the help provided on the support site in question and that there are no other solutions.

      There is no real-time contact method with Facebook and the only option is to refer to the help provided on Facebook's support.

    Have you tried unlinking your Instagram account from Facebook to see if it restores your Facebook account?

    I had the same problem today. I asked chat gpt, and it gave me this link: https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/260749603972907 only for suspended accounts. It asks to outline the situation and to have a backup email. I just made my request, let's see what happens next..
