Ethernet cable not detected by Freebox

Hello,
I just bought a new cable, but when I tried to plug it into my Freebox, I noticed that the LEDs don't light up and there's no Ethernet connection on my computer. I have, of course, tried all the ports.
I tried connecting my computer with other cables provided with the Freebox, but only 1 out of 2 works; the other has the same problem as the cable I just bought.
I was able to test the new cable on another Orange box, and it works fine. So I assume the problem lies with the box.
Do you have any solutions, or should I contact Free's customer service for a box replacement?
Thank you for your responses.

Hello,
You did not provide the model of the box. It might be a refurbished box.
Normally there is only one Ethernet cable supplied by Free (for Pop and Revolution). The other cable might be an RJ11 cable. The one that works is probably the Ethernet cable.
Are you sure that the 2 cables provided by Free are the same (the RJ11 connector is narrower than the RJ45 connector)?
Does the cable provided by Free that seems correct work on all Ethernet ports of the Freebox?
- If yes, the Freebox is not the issue.
- If no, the Freebox is defective and you need to contact Free.
What is well conceived is clearly expressed,
And the words to say it come easily.

Hello,
when a cable doesn't work, if possible, you should try flipping it end to end, it might eliminate a bad contact issue.
After that,
it may be that the ethernet card in your PC is also limited in terms of autoneg.
And there you go ....
But goodness, how annoying the line spacing is!!
Oh yeah, autoneg == autonegotiation of the speed and duplex mode by an Ethernet port.
Since I feel like you’re going to ask me what duplex mode is, I’ll explain directly:
There are 2 duplex modes: the old half duplex, where each waits for the other to finish talking before doing the same, like a walkie-talkie, and the newer full duplex or simply duplex, where both can talk at the same time, like a telephone.
In Ethernet, it’s the same: half duplex back in the days of hubs and full duplex in today’s switches, it negotiates just like the speed at connection.
Hello
but only 1 out of 2 works
Just use the one that works with Free. The box comes with 2 different cables to work with 2 different systems, the other cable is for Orange if you want.
.
it's a Freebox Mini 4K and yes, the cable that works works on all the ports
the 2 cables seem identical to me
if I understand correctly, the box has no issues but neither does my cable, so why isn't it working?
