Hello,

I need to reset my device before sending it for repair, I don't want to lose anything.

Can someone tell me if it's possible to transfer photos from my iPhone (SE 2020) to my PC while keeping the date they were taken (and possibly any information I've edited on the photo, but that would be a bonus)?

Also, what's the quickest way to transfer them to my PC? I have 32 GB of photos to transfer.

Thank you!

    Hello,

The date of the shot, as well as the technical data regarding the camera, are in the photo's EXIF data. So you won't risk losing them during a transfer.

On the other hand, the information you noted below the photo will certainly be lost.

Regarding the transfer, you should opt for a USB cable transfer, given the volume of data. This will be the fastest method.
Not having an iPhone, I cannot be precise. It seems that the easiest way is to install iTunes on the PC:

Another method here, without using additional software:

Be patient; file recognition by Photos can take a long time!
