JBL 5.1 Soundbar stuck

Hello,
I purchased a JBL 5.1 soundbar but unfortunately it only works with optical input; as soon as I try to set it to HDMI ARC, the soundbar freezes and I have to unplug it for 1 minute. I've tried several HDMI cables, including the one provided and the one from my Xbox Series X, but nothing works. My TV is a Philips 55OLED706. If anyone has any advice, I thank you in advance.

Hello,
To unlock it, perform a factory reset on your JBL soundbar.
In source mode, press and hold the volume –, volume +, and source buttons on the top panel of the soundbar until the display shows Reset.
When the factory settings restoration is complete, the product will stop and restart automatically.

Hello
I have the same problem for about a month; as soon as I connect the HDMI ARC, it gets stuck on its ON screen.
Did you resolve the issue with your speaker?

Hello,
For both of you (Tom and Lolo): Stick with the Optical cable to connect the JBL soundbar. I did it this way to connect my Panasonic mini-chain to my new TV.

Hello
It seems that all HDMI ports, including ARC, only work as inputs on this television.
Outputting sound to the soundbar will not go through HDMI.

Hello,
have you solved your problem? My JBL Bar 5.1 soundbar gets stuck on "on" as soon as the HDMI ARC connected to the TV is plugged in.
I suspect it might be an issue with the Android TV update on the TV (LG OLED).
Thanks for any information.

Hello,
I'm having the same problem as you since the beginning! As soon as I bought the LG 55 C1, the connection on HDMI ARC or EARC makes the soundbar freeze as soon as the HDMI cable is inserted into the TV's ARC output.
So I can only use the JBL 5.1 soundbar through optical... really disappointed... is there no solution to get HDMI ARC to work??
Thank you

Hello everyone,
Therefore, I advise you to abandon the HDMI ARC connector and switch to the optical connector.
