Hello everyone,
I have a JBL escXcite 5.1 home cinema system and I'm having an issue with it...
Indeed, as long as it receives no signal, it is completely silent, but as soon as it receives a signal, whether through optical, coaxial, or analog, the subwoofer makes a continuous noise, a kind of brrrrruu......
It's very annoying because I have to turn the volume up quite high to cover this constant noise, and it's even worse when I'm watching a movie.
If anyone has any idea.
Thanks

Hello, I have the same problem, but on top of that I only have some air left on certain satellites, I think it was when I turned it off abruptly that I must have burned something!
Do you have more info? Were you able to fix this problem?
Thanks

Hi,
after opening the casing with a knowledgeable buddy, there’s indeed a burnt element, hence the continuous buzz of the boomer.
Cost of the element: 100 euros!!!
So the system is now in a country house where I can crank up the volume without any problem (no neighbors), which covers that continuous buzz.
