Hello, thank you for your response, but it doesn't work. I don't have the same navigation as you describe. Dlt
Hello,
Check if there is an "AD" button on the remote control
I call a spade a spade *

Hello,
see in the Configuration menu to search for "Hard of hearing" (malentendant ?)
See the manual on page 33, downloadable notice at the bottom of the page here
https://www.neo-solutions.fr/television/510-tv-led-hd-32-hyundai-3584174448785.html
Note: if the image is provided by a decoder or TV box, it is quite possible that you need to go into the menu of that external device to make changes..
It is very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it is not there...
Here is what is written, but it doesn't tell me how to disable it.
6.8 Hearing Impaired This option allows you to enable/disable the Hearing Impaired function. For the hearing impaired, this function provides subtitles as a complement to the audio.
Hello bjr baladur13, the references for my Hyundai TV are HY-TQL32R4-014 and the one for my remote control is the same. You can find the manuals online, and it will be easier. Maybe you will understand better than I do. If it burdens you, pg, I will send a message to Néo Solutions at CDISCOUNT where I bought the TV. Best regards
I have the manual; I was the one who indicated where to download it in message 5.
However, the manual is in French, and it seems that the television menu is in English...
Hence my question: did you find the section corresponding to 6.8 Hearing impaired in the TV's Setup menu?
This section should be in English...
It's certainly this: Hearing impaired
Sorry, but I can access the TV menu, but I can no longer see the configuration? It was there at the beginning when I did the connection, but everything was already pre-configured.
I have no doubt that you know how to access the menu.... However, it is certain that there is still a way to go to "Setup"... even though we are no longer in the "First configuration" phase.
Moreover, you should even find a way to restart this first configuration
See paragraph: 6.12First installation
This option allows you to recall the First installation menu.
Thank you, but how do I go back with the remote control and the TV screen menu interface to the "initial setup" menu?
Thank you for your help, but I'm going to give up for now because I'm overwhelmed and don't want to bother you anymore. Maybe I will have an epiphany.
Have a great weekend.
I told you that there is a section in the menu called "SetUP" where you need to find on the screen the image of my message 12.
You press the "Menu" button on the remote control, then, using the up or down arrows on the remote, you look for "Setup" or "Configuration" and press OK.
Once in the "Setup" or "Configuration" menu, with the up or down arrows on the remote, you search for Hearing impaired or Malentendant.
There you need to be on "OFF".
It is not necessary to return to the initial configuration...
Note: There is also a button on the remote, at the top, under the red button, marked
"Subtitle" to see if it is not simply that which displays subtitles (not audio description).
PS: It is reasonable to deliver with the TV the complete manual for the remote control. Just naming the buttons is not enough.
Re: Eureka, I found it. With the remote control, go to the "sound" menu and select "sound mode," then set it to "user" and then scroll down with the down arrow to "AD selection" and choose "disable" with the "enter" key, then exit the menu. In fact, it is important to select USER mode, because without that, you cannot access the options. Best regards
