Hello, I just got a Wii U and Mario Kart 8 which I think is really great. I read that a DLC exists. How can I get it, please? Thank you.

    Hello, the DLC for Mario Kart 8 can be purchased on the Nintendo eShop. There are 2 DLCs, one Zelda DLC and one Animal Crossing DLC. You can find more information at https://www.nintendo.fr/Jeux/Jeux-Wii-U/Mario-Kart-8-765384.html#Contenu_additionnel

    Important: on 3DS and Wii U, the Nintendo eShop will close on March 27, 2023 and it will no longer be possible to purchase this content from that date

      In the Nintendo eShop, go to the Mario Kart 8 page and press the "Additional content" button.

      There is a pack containing the 2 DLCs + 8 Yoshis and 8 Koopa Troopas in different colors for €12, or each of these DLCs is sold individually for €8.

      There is also a free Mercedes-Benz DLC that includes 3 Mercedes-Benz cars.

      This content can no longer be purchased after March 27, 2023, but if you buy it before this date, you will still be able to use it and redownload it after the Nintendo eShop closes.

    Hello and thank you again for these clear explanations, I'm almost there, I found the additional content and I wanted to buy the pack of the 2 DLCs. I didn't have any credit so I opted for the credit card method for 20 euros but now I don't know how to transfer that money to purchase from the Nintendo eShop Card... Unbelievable...

      If you have a Nintendo account, you can fund your eShop account with your credit card. It's not very complicated. Have you read the instructions with the 3 provided links carefully?

    Thank you so much for helping me because I really don't understand anything at all. I've created a Nintendo Network account, but at the top of which page does it say: "How to fund your account in the Nintendo eShop with a credit card," I've searched everywhere and reread the links... and I can't find that anywhere, it would indeed be simpler... I went to the shopping menu of my Nintendo account and the 20 euros show up, but at no point can I transfer them to the Nintendo eShop, it doesn't appear...

    Re, that was indeed the problem, I had missed that info, it's all good now I've managed to put everything together and download the DLCs. Thank you a thousand times to both of you, Jean20B and Panth33ra, for your patience. : )
