Choppy video on Chromecast Mini player Freebox 4K

Hello.

I have a Freebox mini 4k with the associated mini player.

There’s no problem watching live TV.

But there's a choppy image on the television (not smooth movements) when I use the option to cast the image from VLC (Render function). However, if I record my video file on a USB stick and plug it into the mini player, there’s no problem.

Thank you for any explanation, especially if you can suggest a way to improve the casted images.

Hello,

I assume the connection between VLC and the Chromecast is via Wifi?

There probably isn't enough Wifi bandwidth to allow the video to be streamed continuously without interruptions.

I don't really see a better wireless solution.

Maybe an Ethernet cable, but certainly an HDMI cable to stream VLC on the TV.
Even though both solutions are cumbersome.

The USB key is probably the best option for occasional streaming.
