Hello
You need to type the name in the main search bar of leboncoin.
It worked, at least for professionals.
Normally, yes, the items are those offered by the username.
We don't have an account like you access your personal account on leboncoin.
We don’t have a member profile like you can see on CCM; it’s really a site focused on items for sale.
Each site does things its own way.
Hello,
I have a small question and a bit of a rant to share!
I've already bought collectible items on Leboncoin twice (200 euros) and the sellers sent them in a poor cardboard box with no protection whatsoever.
No surprise, they arrived completely crushed... the first time I didn't receive any photos of the packaging and the second time the other seller sent me some, I quickly told him that in my opinion the item wouldn't survive the shipping with so little protection... the seller replied "we'll see lol."
Upon receiving it, I opened the very damaged package at the pickup point and immediately took photos for Leboncoin and the seller indicating that I wanted to request a return (item completely crushed). The seller told me "no, I'll refund you 5 euros if you want"...
I politely replied that I was sorry but I only collect items in great condition and that I had already mentioned this in our earlier discussion (before the purchase).
He pressured me a bit by giving me a return point, I remained very courteous during our entire exchange and explained that it was not my responsibility to pay for the return and that I had to wait for Leboncoin to give me instructions.
A few days later I received the return label and took 30 minutes of my time to package it very securely and sent it back.
He messaged me to say he had processed the refund.
The problem arose afterward, I kindly told him that I would still leave him a positive review. And he rushed to leave me a very negative review even though I wasn't at fault in this situation. I find this really unfair (it's the second time I've had sellers pull this on me).
I wanted to report and file a complaint with Leboncoin about the review, explaining everything, and they just replied that there was no issue with his review...
Can I get recourse to remove his review? (I sell very seriously every day on Leboncoin)
What can I do except stop buying from individuals who have no notion of careful and secure packaging?
I contacted the seller on social media and he replied with "are you upset????"...
His username (Yoann) and his name Yoann Constantino. I kindly advise you to avoid buying from him...
Thank you very much for your future replies and for reading me.
Best regards
Hello,
Either it doesn't work, or I haven't found the solution, because anyway, you can't miss the option to post an ad. When you type a username in the search bar next to categories, of course, you won't find it. I don't like this site; I've always thought it looked very outdated for such a well-known platform. Le Bon Coin needs to improve it; it feels a bit musty, this site. If anyone has a solution, I'll leave the topic unresolved.
Hello,
Thank you for your response, I had tried what you mentioned before posting on CCM.
It brings up articles that have the username in the title. For example, if you chose "Matisse" as your username, it could bring up representations of the famous artist Matisse, so it’s unrelated.
I think Le Bon Coin needs to improve this, as we can't find people.
Thank you and have a good day.
Hello, Indeed, we can't find people, so the recommendations are useless. Because we can't reach someone who recommended a seller to share our experience with said seller in case of concerns about fraud.
Have a nice day
Hello everyone,
I had deleted a LEBONCOIN conversation and I found it again.
When I received a Leboncoin message, I would also receive an email at the same time for that message.
So I found those emails and I directly sent an email, which reopened the deleted conversation on the app.
You’re a genius! Thanks to you, I was able to close a deal with a client I had turned down the first time.
