Scanner icon has disappeared from the desktop

Hello, I am using an Intel Core 13 PC, Windows 10. After a usual document scan, the scan icon has disappeared from the desktop. Where can I find the path to the printer I am using: Canon MX 495? Thank you.

    Hello,

    I don't have that icon either.

    It is of no interest, since to do a scan you have to be next to the printer and therefore start the scanning function from the printer.

    If you insist, you can access the scanning from Quick Menu (available in Canon Utilities).
