Empty gmail labels

Hello

All my Gmail labels are empty without any action on my part. Important emails that I thought were safe, but I believe that labels are not folders (Outlook, for example)

Hello,

Regarding the functioning of Gmail, there is only one single copy of each email in the "All Mail" folder. Everything else are labels attached to the email, including the "Inbox," "Spam," and "Trash" folders.

So if you have emptied the "All Mail" folder, that could explain the loss of your messages.

Thank you very much for your response, do you have a more secure solution to keep important emails with this messaging service, and is it possible to recover lost emails after 30 days?

I'm afraid it's not possible to recover lost emails, whether it's been one day or thirty.

I personally manage to keep important emails; I still have some dating back to 2008 and I've never had a problem.

At one point, I had created a second Gmail address that served as a backup for the first one. Eventually, I abandoned this system after several years because I had to clean up both inboxes every time, which was too burdensome.
